Last night the Passaic County Fire Academy held graduation for the Spring/Fall Firefighter 1 classes and the Firefighter 2 class. The Hawthorne Fire Dept graduated the following members: (left to right) Firefighter 1- FF Joe Wojtecki E3, FF Justin Speranza E3, FF Sylvia Fonseca T2. Firefighter 2- FF Jorge Padilla E4 and FF Mike Hechinger T2. Congratulations to all our graduates and remember to never stop learning.

Looking for a place to get your Christmas Tree? The HFD Co 1 & 3 Christmas Tree Lot is officially open in the pool parking lot. Monday-Friday 5p-9p and Saturdays & Sundays 9a-9p. *hours may vary slightly as all members are volunteers.

This morning we received great news from the North Pole. Santa is coming to town! He will be making his way around town with us on Saturday December 17th beginning at 4:30pm. Listen for the sirens and keep an eye out here for more info as we get closer.
