Hawthorne Fire Department participates in “National Home Sprinkler Collation” Initiative. The department was presented a grant to coordinate and provide a live burn demonstration for the residents and visitors of the borough. It was decided to complete the demo at the towns annual “Hawthorne Day” on September 24th, 2016.
The program was funded to educate visitors of the functionality of an in home sprinkler system and tier effectiveness.
