Lithium Ion Battery Fires Lecture

02/23/2023 – Never Stop Learning is a saying passed around the fire service. Firefighters must remain trained to handle anything they are called to. Last week members of the Glen Rock FD and Hawthorne FD took a training class from NJ Fire Equipment on our new air packs which are due in soon. Last night members of both departments took a class on Lithium Ion Battery Fires from FDNY LT Mickey Farrell of Top Floor Tactics. With more classes already scheduled we are committed to keep learning so we are better trained and ready to handle all situations we may face.
