HFD responded for mutual aid for a working house fire

1/16/2023 – This afternoon at 12:50pm Truck 2 and Chief 50 responded to North Haledon on automatic aid for a possible fire at 692 Belmont Ave. On arrival of North Haledon FD they reported a working fire with heavy fire conditions on the 2nd floor. The crew from Truck 2 was assigned to split their crew for multiple assignments on arrival. A crew threw ladders and accessed the roof, while another went to the basement for utility control/search, and the rest to stood by as the FAST team. Truck 2 was released from the scene around 3pm.
