Hawthorne Fire Department delivered over 100 pieces of firefighting gear to be utilized by Ukrainian firefighters

4/26 Yesterday members of the Hawthorne Fire Department delivered over 100 pieces of firefighting gear to be utilized by Ukrainian firefighters. The department is thankful to have the blessing of our mayor, council and administrator to allow in the provision of the older gear to these brave first responders. We also wish to thank several members who assisted in the venture, (Asst Chief J .Longo, FF L. Warner, FF B. Anderson.) We especially wish to thank the Clifton Fire Department, FMBA local 21, and FF Oleg Skachko for coordinating this. We continue to offer our prayers to the first responders of Ukraine.
