Goffle Rd House Fire

12/01/25 – This afternoon at 1:15pm the Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on Goffle Rd for a possible house fire. Chief arrived and transmitted a working fire for fire in a 2.5 story multi family dwelling with the rear of the structure heavily involved. On arrival companies stayed defensive due to fire conditions on the 2nd floor and attic. A 2nd alarm was transmitted bringing additional mutual aid to the scene. Numerous attempts to make an interior attack were made but companies were forced out due to fire conditions and structural integrity. Truck 2 and North Haledon Ladder 1 set up their ladder pipes to knock down the fire. Companies operated on scene until shortly after 6pm.
